The Counseling Program at Sunset is a safe, inclusive, and accepting place for LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Transgender, Queer, Plus) Students and Families.
LGBTQ+ Youth are more likely to experience bullying at school and ongoing mental health concerns then their peers. That is why I believe it is important to bring awareness to this group of humans, educating about the LGBTQ+ experience, and create future Ally's (those who support LGBTQ+ people and care about their rights).
